What do you guys think about this

A soft C shaped 9.5 radius rosewood neck with highest grade fret wire
Orange for the color with vintage white amp knobs
White or Brown Shell pickguard
No back plate with 5 springs
I'm debating on pickups FAT 50's or CS 69's
I have some other details and things I want done

If anyone knows how much this would cost and other things I'd love to hear some input on what you think.

Thanks

You'd have to go to an authorized Fender dealer to get a price on special order Custom Shop guitars.

I have to ask... since almost all of your customization ideas are replacement plastics, why go to the expense of a Custom SHop guitar when you could easily mod any number of Strats that come stock with 9.5" radius c-shape necks?

I'd buy a Strat that felt and looked great, replace the plastic parts, and swap out the pickups.

What'd they say?

I say think Warmoth ... they'll do you a nice Orange.
Use a Fender neck.
Buy the other bits.

It'll be a lot cheaper than going Fender Custom Built.

Of course if you have the money and are willing to spend thousands for the coolness of a Custom Shop or MasterBuilt strat to your specs then go for it. It'll be a thing of beauty and conversation piece. Then again, there's the wait for such an instrument that can be more then a year.

I didn't want to scare him with the amount of time that Fender would take.

Warmoth would take about two months, at most.

Here's my "custom Fender" built using a Warmoth body and various Fender parts.

Very cool, but I'd have made one of them a 12 string.

I wasn't as interested in a 12 string as being able to do alternate tunings on a non-trem bridge. Think Keith Richards' tuning.
