Hi All. I have a 2006 MIM Stratocaster in black. On the top of the body as it slopes down to the rear strap nut about where your mid forearm toches there is a chip. Except for two hairline slivers on the side it is attached although it has some cracks running through it. I have had it looked at professionaly and both are approximatly $200 plus to make it look new, slightly less to try and touch it up. I am thinking of doing it myself even though I know it will not look new. Any advice I would appreciate very much. Thank you, Dave

Just sell it on ebay as a light relic

but really, its pretty costly to repair poly finishes. I dont know of a cheap way to make it look like new.

You can always look at the ding as a battle scar, something that makes your guitar unique to you.

hi david, and welcome!

Pics would help! :)

Oh and BTW I would highly recomment to not choose an email adress as your nickname on forums because of spamsoftware etc. Just a thought.

Again, welcome! Image

Cheers
