I don't know if this has been asked before (probably has...) but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Out of all the 900,000 string manufacturers and the variety of guages, what brand do you always use on your Strat?

For me... I always use these:

I love Ernie Ball Regular Slinky's 10-46, they always sound great! 8)

I must be a freak, Fender Super Bullets 3250L (Gauge 9's)

They dont last that long, but by god do they make a nice tone while they are fresh.

Primary user of D'Addario EXL110 10s. Tried the D'Addario 9.5s but just stayed with the 10s. Damn good strings.

Ernie Ball Slinky 10's are my mainstay. I'll go to 9's on occation. On my semi-hollow, EB 11's. On the acoustic D'Addario phosphor bronze 11's.

D`Addario all the way for me. Recently ive been loving these gauge 11 blues/jazz/rock ones, very smooth and slick to play on.

google - EXL115-3D Electric Blues/Jazz11-49

I tried to put a picture in but couldnt work it out!

As far as sweating hands go, those are the ones. Great tone! Last for months when regular strings lasts only a week or two.

When the Guitar Center Promo began, I had the occasion to speak to a tech rep from EB about strings. I do use the Gilmour set on my VG Strat to enhance the baritone voice the guitar has, but have tended towards 9.5's on my other guitars. D'Addario XL's have pretty much been the brand[supporting a Long Island business] and, interestingly enough, the EB tech couldn't give me a material reason why his product was preferable, other than to say he'd hope I'd give 'em a try.
