hey guys, im interested in this guitar, what do you guys think? is it worth it? what is the ideal weight for a fender strat?

I looked at the specs of that guitar. Odd to see a '57 V shaped neck with a rosewood board. By 1960, I'm pretty sure Strat necks were C shaped.

Either way, those are some beautiful specs. 7.4 lbs is a very reasonable weight for a stratocaster.

Looks like a nice option if you want those specs. They spec'd this guitar and then bought a bunch of them from Fender, so got a deal. If you were to spec this guitar, it would msrp for double that price. I suppose you could do something similar by buying 2 (or maybe 3) guitars and mix/match components to get exactly what you want.

I like the looks of this guitar but generally prefer maple necks to rosewood. I wonder if this CS guitar sounds 2X times better than my EJ Strat? Its about twice the cost of what I paid for my Eric Johnson.

Looks even more odd with 22 frets.
