Maybe, depends. (What is the confusion?)
I am not sure. (Why does is matter, are you having Clapton play your own guitar?)
Plenty stuff and still learning everyday. (What can I/we(forum) can help you with?)

Ask Nevin what gauge he uses-after all he taught Clapton everything he knows.

Or ask Albert Lee, who played with Clapton....and who Clapton calls "the greatest guitarist in the world". Albert uses 10's..... :)

Me......I switch strings all the time depending on what I need. From 9's to 11's generally.

First, you should consider Boise, Idaho your next vacation spot...if you do you should let me know when you'll be in town...you wont have to stay long...if you fly in, just met me in the terminal...if you were to drive...I can give you my address...like I said, this wont take more than...oh 90 seconds...Im sure. There, If that doesnt clear up any confusion
YOU might have...take the trip, we can work this whole confusion thing out...

Have a really nice day, Ok?

Ha really nice.... so in 90 sec you will show me how to play "Stairway on the water" and then what. :x

Now serious business...You should formulate your question to be less vague if you want better answers. If you are inviting me for a jam cool maybe one day, i'll drop by, if you making threats, for one simple "delete" button will happen on your account and second you are making threats to the Internet/your keyboard and is unwise since you don't know anything about me. I'll be watching you now soldier.....

So tell me which is it.

wait a minute. we dont know if hes threatening you yet.
i wouldnt think so as thats not conduct of the several
semperfi alumni that we have on this forum, nor the
conduct of any of the other military members that we
have on here. maybe we should give the guy a chance to explain
as i invited him to do so in my above post.
however dan, your first reply to him was very confusing as to
what you too ment.

No ill intentions on my first reply, just a comic (perhaps not too successful) attempt to tell the op that his question(s) were not clear. In the past my original questions fell flat on the face if I was not clear what I wanted to ask.

yes it did leave us unclear. well me anyways lol.
still that would be no reason to be threatened.
the OP hasnt come back to explain himself and i
honestly dont expect him to.
thing is, as i ve said before, you cant always
be clear on the intent or the writer on forums
by reading their text alone. sometimes as we are just
clowning around folks will take us serious or totally
wrong from our best intentions.
