Any chance that Fender might be coming out with an American Deluxe Strat V neck with a rosewood fingerboard? I love the V neck and the locking tuners but not into maple. There is something about rosewood that is just softer, makes for easier bends, and gets a smoother tone <--that's probably all psychological.

I really doubt Fender every having a rosewood board on the Am. Deluxe V neck Strat. The V shaped neck is synonymous with '50's maple neck Strats and if you read about the MIA Deluxe V neck, it's marketed for the player seeking a '50's style neck on a guitar with modern appointments.
