G'day Everyone, I was wondering if anyone out there has an opinion as to which one of these two lovely Strat's is a better work horse for the live performing muso?

i would think the Deluxe is a more versatile guitar with the S-1 switch--i have a New deluxe in the HSS and its a awesome guitar--

hmm.. I would agree.. I think whats throwing me is that I use my Standard for all my typical Strat material and my Gibson Les Paul or SG for the Gibbo type material.

I do like the Bill Lawrence pups on my 09 Deluxe Strat which can cover both of these types of song material but it is nice to have a Fender and a Gibson sitting on stage... Both American legends...
