Can anyone tell me what year my Strat is. Serial # MZ2206657

Also, how do you tell what model it is. It has 4 pickups and a trem.

All that we can tell from the sn is that it indicates made in Mexico 2002 to 2003. For model info we need pictures, and/or you can contact Fender with your sn for more info.

thank you. I'll try to post a pic. Has 4 pickups with humbuckers at the bridge. Has C E on the plate to attach the neck.

They made so many versions of this axe I don't know how they can keep them straight!

I believe the term 'Fat' strat denotes the humbucker pickup? ie; Humbucker pickup means more balls than the single coil (unless you've got the S-1 switch )
