This is an update on my previous post regarding string buzz. Everything's been setup very well (i.e. nut height..check, leveled frets..check, neck relief..check, action..check, new set of daddario 10s..check!) It's very difficult to trace where the buzz is coming from. It buzzes across the fretboard including open strings ONLY when i pick near the bridge pickup . If i pick near the neck, everything's buzz-free.The G and D strings seem a bit louder compared to the rest of the strings. I tried raising the action on the G string to about 6/64 but still the buzz is there. I could not hear it through my amp though, only when its unplugged.

Could this be the new saddles? I had a new set of titanium saddles installed. I replaced the nut with a pre-slotted graphtech tusq xl but its now adjusted at the right height approx .45mm and the slots seem to be filed properly at a slanting angle facing towards the headstock.

If you did all that and it still buzzes, one of those steps was not done adequately, most likely from what you describe is the relief, you need more forward bow in the neck. Keep in mind it's kinda hard for anyone to help without actually holding the guitar.

The fact that this is not picked up through the amp verifies it is a hardware issue. Sight unseen, I can only presume that one or several of the saddles are rattling on the bridge plate. Overwhelmingly, this is caused by one (or several) of the pairs of height adjustment screws (per saddle) not being even with their partner. To a lesser extent or a compounding problem is that a string or multiple strings is/are not firmly in contact with the curvature of the saddle as it/they bend across the saddle, heading towards the neck. Of course, the closer you pluck the strings to the bridge, the more prevalent the symptom(s) would be.

Or, it could be something even simpler like an intonation spring is rattling.

The G and D strings being louder is a separate and unrelated polepiece height issue.
