There are those that you've mentioned and many, many more which will adequately do the job. You will get many, many valid and diverse recommendations. Your best bet is to go to the DiMarzio and Duncan websites and listen to their sound bytes of whatever pickups you are interested in, selecting which is the most personally pleasing per your requirements.

That is like asking which shade of red is vermillion...

You will be playing thru what amp configuration.. :?: this is 50% of your sound equation.

Just to muddy the waters a bit more, I'm using 3 single coils that came with my Deluxe Player's Strat, on a standard build. They are vintage noiseless but do not have the noiseless moniker stamped on the pup cover. Yet they are run thru 2 TBX tone pots with a 220K resistors instead of the 82k resistor which came with the TBX's. This set up is incredibly versatile as far as getting a Knopfler tone or a much harder Zeppelin, Van Halen, Lynch, S Stevens tone.
This is thru a Fender HRD but I think that the sound you are seeking is a combination of at least 4 variables, guitar setup, neck and body construction/materials, pickups, amps and last but not least, peripherals such as cables and playing location. Then dialing in all the variables to attain the sound you are hearing in your mind....

Good Luck, as we are al seeking that perfect " Brown Sound "

I like the Duncan JB (SH-4) for a bridge pup in one of my Strats, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will. Good luck!
