What the hell happened to this forum over the last few years

Nope. Bill was part of the guy's name and I know he has not come back. At least not with the same user name, anyway. I checked my message to him yesterday while thinking about this and it is still unread in my outbox and he has no post activity for a long time. The wonderful thing about this is your sensitivity to not saying it right and says you have a conscience, which some people I meet these days seem not too have. All of us have taken something a bit wrong and over reacted. I wish I could take back a few episodes with my own kids and wife!

But if a person at lease tries to make it right, well, that says a lot.

Jeff: I know that you are aware that I've often found it necessary to take people to task during some of this Forum's heated threads. While trying to be extremely diplomatic,[and I edit my writing until I'm satisfied with the way it reads], it is often very difficult to be other than 'telling it like it is' without committing character assassinations. The respondents often put one in a position where one is obliged to pull out all the stops [apologies to Johann for that] to avoid doing so. Nutter and I are presently on the tail end of a current thread where we are managing what amounts to a slight hiccup, but I am waiting to see whether or not it is going to progress to a full blown respiratory embarassment.
