Interesting fact of this auction is that everybody seems to be bribing Mrs C rather than Mr C. I'll leave that uncommented!
Yeah - I'm going to point out that Andy has already submitted his bid FOR REAL. That puts him a bit ahead of the game so far - even if he hasn't quite understood how auctions work and is bidding for the wrong outcome....Anyone remember what this thread was about? I think it was that these days too many of us are nasty, rude and spiteful round here - wasn't it? Ah well: the proof of the pudding...
Ah! I also am wondering why people are bribing Mrs. C? Ummmmm. I will not comment either! ummmmmmm I will up the bid too: 3 bobs, 5 bottle of Marmite and a free ticket to a Jeff Beck concert.... He is playing in FL this weekend.

I try to respect people in my day to day life, no matter who or where. Being rised in the deep south of the U.S. we were (I was) taught "yes sir" "no sir" "yes mam" "no mam" With until someone finishes talking before you answer....all forms of common respect. I still carry that with me even I am much older now. I am a pretty easy going person and will let a lot "slide" and let it go, but as I also respect myself, and sometimes by God and General Lee the rod of correction comes down.

Man, those days seem long gone. It is only when I am in a 3rd world country where people call me "mr" or "sir". Here in the US the respect level has dropped tremendously over the last 20 years. Things have become just too common. The things I hear teens say to their parents today make me realize that when I was a teen, if I talked that way to my dad or mom, I would have got the beating of my life! And the CPA would not have stepped in to defend me either. In fact many people would have stood by and said, "Ya kid, ya just don't talk that way to your parents! GIV'EM ONE MORE!!!!"

And then we wonder why there are people who pop in to Forums like this and act disrespectful? And it just isn't teens. Sometime older, very opinionated people, push their ideas as if they are a know-it-all and when someone disagrees, they blow up! I just ignore such insecure idiots! This forum is has become my second home when I need time to escape from work or bored at home (when i am not playing my geetar or working on one!) 8)

That's 52, 16" diameter, chocolate cakes. One a week for a year.

Hey Niki, I just took apart the buzzard. For the life of me I do not know why it will not work. I checked all the connections and the pots seem to turn smoothly, the switch clicks easy, and the battery is good, plus, no shorts anywhere. Can you email me with your address and I can have you take a look at it???? If you do that I will not out bid you on the Alycia's chocolate cake offer....otherwise I am bumping it up to: 52, 18" chocolate cakes. One a week for a year!!!!

It's pedal building day Friday. Day off work and have to avoid the royal wedding.

That sound great....then we could do an exchange of innards....buzzard gizzards..... Or I could come by after the wedding and pick them up. I hate to have to go but since I am related, I don't have much choice.....

I wish 'em both luck. Zounds!!....With the likes of the wannabees and the needtoknows on this planet, and the bloodsuckers who'll do anything possible to earn a buck to feed those appetites, they're sure going to need it. I remember, as a child, the Queen's Coronation televised, and pretty much grew up with Charles, but I'll be darned if I'm gonna get out of bed at 3:00 am EDT for this one. I'll have a busy day ahead of me in my own right.

Ahhhhhhh.........so this is where it began. He comes back from a tour of the South Pacific, to the snows of Idaho, and leads us into a discourse on indigenous food delicacies. There was a piece on the Food Channel about Vegemite. Totally intrigued me...about the same as BBQ'd crickets. Different strokes, I suppose.

Yes, its become quite noticable. I live in rural area and some of these kids are still taught respect, but by in large its a lost practice.

Gonna be building Honey Bee's in the morning. (Doc's, X's, a birthday present for a past member and two for the guitarists in AllThumbs' band).

Luncheon of 12 cans of Fosters, then onto experimenting with the voicechanger/infernal noise of doom/Satan's Bowel Movement pedal I posted some link's to a while back. I plan on trying a weak fuzz circuit on that pedals input, cos it really needs some welly to get the thing to recognise a signal. It's designed to have kids shouting into it after all. Then a op-amp circuit on the output to keep the volume up.

Looks like something which, if smeared on a petri dish and cultured, might result in a cure for which there is no known disease.

Vegamite and Maramite are certainly an acquired taste,a friend of mine who was raised in England almost kissed my feet when I gave her a bottle of Maramite I found in a "granola"type food store.I tried the Maramite on toast as was suggested but it was like eating a mouthful of yeast.
