I had a PRS that didn't work out due to poor customer service at the Sam Ash store where I got it. It was a nice guitar, but was missing all the accessories and the hang tag that comes with each PRS. The case was damaged as well, so they ordered me a new case. When the case came in, I asked about the hang tag and accessories, and their response was basically... "Oh Well". I was not happy about that at all, so I decided I wanted to return the PRS and maybe going back to a Strat.

I love Strats and have owned quite a few of them, but I'm a one guitar guy. I just can't own more than one guitar at a time. I feel like I'm cheating on the other one(s). I know it sounds weird, but I owned two acoustics for about two weeks, and it drove me freekin crazy. I had to sell one of them.

Anyway, I went to get some strings and look at some Strats and decide which one to get.

And then...

I saw this...

It had just come in and after playing it, I just could not resist getting it.

I never see these guitars in the stores so I never played one before, and after playing this one I realized my search was over.

She sure is a beauty!! I've always wanted one since I first saw The Beatles (among others) playing them. They certainly have a sound of their own. If you don't mind sharing, how much did she set you back? Enjoy!!

I love Rics. I hope someday to have a 360 12 string. But I had to have my Strat first.

The 330 is such a beautiful guitar. It's the guitar I would choose if I didn't already have such a nice strat. Your Fireglo is spectacular! 8)

Here's an example of another lovely Ric finish. This is a model 1998 in Montezuma Brown:

A 330 in Montezuma Brown would hands-down be my next guitar if I could ever find an affordable one.

I've come to the conclusion that I will buy a Ric some day if for no other reason than I've wanted one for so long. I'm currently leaning toward a 360 Blueburst.

Great looking guitar!!!! This months issue of Premier Guitar (April) has a big article on Paul Wilczynski who is Rickenbacker's only licensed builder on new acoustics and does a lot of work on electric hollow bodies. Lots of pics too. Check it out.

No need to lemon oil that fretboard.

Thats about the only thing I do like about Ric hollowbody guitars. I did like the Susanna Hoffs model though.

Hope you enjoy it Bcalvanese, it's a looker. The world would be dull if we all liked the same stuff.

She is pretty sweet but I'd still stick with a Strat
