Hy, can you please post some link, or model of humbuckers pickup that fits in single coil slot?
I remember some having two parallel 'lines' or 12 little 'holes'
ty

I'm looking for a more power on bridge and less high tone, like some bridge fender pkup

Play a AVHR RI 57 Strat. It has the Tonezone pickup already on it. I love mine. You may too.

I agree, but if you want slightly less power, look at the the Seymour Duncan lil'59. Looks identical and I love them in Strat bridge positions..

This is the SD Pearly Gates humbucker designed to fit single coil. This pickup is hot and crunchy and I love using it blended with the middle single coil or all by itself. It sounds awesome clean or distorted and I play this guitar a LOT!

you can only go so fat until you start crossing over to humbucker grounds.

Hello there,
The pickup with the rails you saw is probably a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails. It is single coil sized. It sounds great. I have one in the bridge of a Strat.

Later,
Norm

Dave Moonface Murray has several Strats equipped with splittable Duncan hotrail humbuckers in an HHH configuration, some having a hotrail bridge humbucker with black pickup covers.

thank you guys... you are all fantastic :)
At now I'm interested in that jb jr .. an equivalent made by di marzio?

Where can I find a wiring diagram to how solder one of this as bridge pickup (they have 4 cables) in 'normal' way and also if I'd like to split it for example with a pull/push pot or a volume pot with a button (see something on a new stratocaster) ?

Please post some link to diagram and if it's possible a link to some pot 'switchable' like my description (no single switch to drill on the guitar please)

tyyyyyyyyy :)

Equivalent to a JB Jr, a PAF pro.

In truth I much prefer Dimarzio's single coil size humbuckers. Where most companies use the same no' of winds on the same magnet type in their smaller humbuckers, Dimarzio don't. They start off like that, then measure frequencies to see the differences between the full and singlecoil sizes sounds. Then they adjust.
Though there is no denying the quality of Seymour Duncan's pickups.

Hello again,

You can find wiring diagrams here.
http://www.guitarelectronics.com/c=9Fcm ... _diagrams/

Or here at Seymour Duncan

Norm
