I'm looking to buy this guitar but I need to know if it's an original or not.I don't know how to recognized a Strat Guitar but I'm asking you guy.I have checked the serial number confirming it was produced from 1984-1988 in Fullerton or Corona Plant USA but I can't rely on this.Can you please help me!thanks

It appears the only things that are genuine US Fender on that guitar is the neck and backplate. The body and all its parts are imported. Caveat Emptor!

The necks probably not real either. It has 21 Frets, should be 22. Also the truss rod plug looks wrong

The neck is a absolute fake. Fender haven't put a maple capped neck on a US production guitar since the early 70's. Note the lack of skunk stripe.

What set of reasons just tell him it's a cheap $@! fake and slanderous to the name Fender and the icon that is Stratocaster.
