:D I have the same guitar ( but in Burgundy Mist Metallic ) with the same pickups! Those Texas Specials really wake up these models, huh?! I like the color of your strat.

That looks really sharp. Does the neck have any flame in the maple? It looks figured to me on the headstock.

Very nice guitar.

Nevin,

The headstock does have some very nice figuring front and back and about a quarter way down the neck, almost a quilting, but not quite. That is one of the reasons I picked it up, well that and it plays like a dream :!: And it sounds lovely through the SR especially with the reverb cranked up to about 7 :!:

Steve Oh No - Yeah I like the the Texas Specials they do "Wake up" the guitar and have some real oomph to them and burgandy mist is a fairly rare color and a nice one, don't see too many of those 8) I love the CAR, I think the solid metalic colors look so good on a Strat with a rosewood neck.

Cedarblues...nice 60s Classic yourself...is that Lake Placid Blue? Oh and that Bandmaster looks pretty sweet too! These 60s Classics seem to look pretty good in front of a Silver Face Amp huh :?: 8)
