Marconi custom build with Armstrongs in the neck and middle :) Its gorgeous! unfortunately has an SD Duckbucker in the bridge which bring it down a bit  her name is Danika and she is beautiful!

ALSO! Ibanez RG550 with a BK Rebel Yell in the bridge :) sounds sexy as hell and does exactly as it needs to whatever my fetish ;) hence i call it the Mistress :P

Well, I have about five guitars that I really love, but this is probably the most unique of them:

I doubt there's another one like it.

My #1 is special for a few reasons. When I originally seen the bulk of it in store I fell in love with it... but I did not have the money. Several months went by and I saved up the money. I thought for sure the guitar would be sold. And it was sold.

The guitar ended up being traded in to the store some time later and I bought it used (but in semi decent shape)

It was my first "real" Fender. It looks nothing like it did when it was new.

It is an ugly mongrel and I doubt anyone would buy it if I were to ever sell it. I have thought of putting it for sale just to see what the reactions would be. Hah!

The only thing original from my initial purchase of the guitar is that finish on the headstock.

I actually love the vibe of this guitar.

Ha ha I'm confused about how you transferred the finish from the original neck onto the headstock of another one, though, since you say the headstock finish is the only thing left.

You've gotta tell us what all those switchies and knobbies do. What is that, s/h ss? Are those three sliders lead/rhythm circuit controls like a jaguar? and the second 5 way switch. Let's hear the deets

The jaguar sliders are pretty much like a jaguar bass pickup switching system (same basic circuit), except in this case the two pickups are actually two pickup groups. Neck/mid is one and the bridge h/s are a second one.
The selector levers are actually wired like two 4-position tele switches. One control is laid out as mid/parallel/neck/series, the other does the same for the two bridge pickups (s/parallel/h/series).

There's actually a 5-way rotary in the middle knob which is a coil/phase selector for the humbucker. So, that lets you pick between normalHB/one coil (noise cancelling with the bridge sc)/parallelHB/other coil out of phase (this also cancels hum with the bridge sc)/ or normal hb out of phase with everything else.

So whenever the humbucker is active (3/4 positions on one pickup selector) you get 5 different options for what's going on.

The coils themselves (including the two humbucker coils, which are basically two strat pickups as a humbucker) are all well-matched and hand made by a guy named Travis Morris.

So, basically, the jag plate controls on/off/series/parallel between the two groups. The levers control the two groups (kind of like setting up a preset for what you want to happen when you use the sliders).

Beyond that the reason for the two groups is it's a stereo output guitar. Pulling the bottom knob out sends the neck/mid pickups out the top jack (normally everything else is just mixed through the bottom back).

The top knob is also a push/pull. That one activates the middle jack. This is an Input/Return. It's a bit different from what Jerry Garcia used to use. He just had everything mix together before the master volume. I actually have mine set up so you send your input signal through the bridge pickups. So you can send neck/mid out through whatever, and then mix them back in where they normally would have come in. Or you can just plug whatever you want into that jack and send aux inputs through your pickups. Contact mics, synths, other guitars, stereo outputs from your main out (thus causing a feedback loop), etc.

If not, just add a screwdriver and a can opener then call it the "Swiss Army Strat".

My 1965 Strat. It's been with me 45 years, through good times and bad and it has never let me down. It's a keeper.

That is why my guitar is so great.
