No idea on that one, as far as "which" model strat. But it's obvious that strats are on the top of the list.

I gotta imagine that Fender would try to hold those numbers "close to their vest." That is, not for public consumption.

Too bad, though, I'd like to know as well!

We can get estimates of overall vintage production using serial numbers and dates.

The last I heard, Fender doesn't publish sales numbers.

A lot of pros use Strats which increases their sales. I could only imagine the amount they sell with that kind of influence.

Probably about 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,001

I have no idea, but it's gotta be a beast if it's fender, think about the mexicans etc, but then look at Gibson, their cheapest model is like six million dollars. Well, here in sunny old england you can pick up a studio for £700. Why you could ever want a les paul is beyond me though, other than the fact that you could get get rich selling a vintage one.

Hehe.

Since Fender (FMIC) is a privately held company, they don't have to disclose any information on sales, profits, losses, projections, etc.....

For what it's worth. About 5 years ago I won a tour of the Gibson acoustic factory in MT. During the tour I asked about capacity and, if I am remembering correctly, was told that they could do about 200 per week. I was surprised that the volume would be so low, but seeing the operation and size of the facility it made sense. That would translate to about $13 million a year in sales. Still sounds low.
