Anyone had both and could speak to the pros/cons especially tone? Does the EMGs with the expander/presence controls etc have a better 'humbucker' sound in the bridge than the Powerhouse midboost? Seems like I heard that that the EMGs were a little 'lifeless?' I know David went back to his black Strat with regular pickups...

I had the DG20 setup and I liked it I put the battery under the trem cover by putting 2 springs on the low strings and 1 on the high E side to leave room for the battery between the springs. the range of sounds are great . I never had a powerhouse set up

I installed a David Gilmour system in a '82 Strat. It sounds super amazing. I would snag one asap if I were you.
I play the Claptons( the ltd ed daphne blue) and the Gilmour system comes close to the same tone.
