In March of 2011 my guitar building and music came to an end. I failed to find a manager for my solo rock n roll show though many loved my original music and style. I then gave it all away and pulled out a filming system I developed in 1989. Being a spiritual type of person though no saint yet hahahahahah I commenced experimentation on the Shroud of Turin. My techniques involve filming in angles then overlaying. This system was first tested in 2009 on the apparition photo of Mary in Zeitoun Egypt 1968 which lasted 3 years till 1971. Anyway the system worked on the Holy Shroud. The incredible clips are on my youtube channel search Vincenzo Ruello. I am now becoming known as Vincenzo Ruello amateur experimental film scientist. The clips are groundbreaking and pioneering. My major discoveries over the past 2 months are
1. Real skin and hair now seen on face and body
2. Images of carved stones on the eyes proving a Jewish ritual and dating it. Previously rumored to have been Roman coins
3. Actual close up of spear wound never before seen
4. Three toes ripped off left foot with xray imagery and true photographics
5. Necklace with a shiny round stone around the neck
Shroud researches are in shock and flabergasted at my claims and discoveries but my images do not lie. What this all means is it is not a painting, it is a true photographic negative and I believe the true Holy Grail. The carbon testings were provan false but my work wasnt concerned with those just images. So thats it, links are spreading everywhere on the net and a newspaper Inner West Courier has published the first story about my discoveries. The man who decoded the Shroud of Turin hahahhahahaha sounds great but this is not a fun job to be involved in and I look forward to building and playing my beautiful Fender guitars.

What a tremendous waste of time, both in this research folly, and posting about it on a Fender Strat forum. The lounge would be a better place to post this (if at all), although it is still a waste of time. What difference does an old rag make? Do you also save the wrappings from your presents? Faith is the evidence of things unseen.

Like I've said before, I think that people should spend more time studying the man, his message, and the fact that he lives, instead of worrying about some stupid piece of cloth, or cup, or spear or any of the other absolutely stupid things that matter not one single bit.

So what? Let's just suppose that it is real. Nothing is changed at all by this knowledge. If anyone thinks that any findings about a piece of cloth will change a single thing about the word, then they are simply fooling themselves. The word is the same today and yesterday. Quite frankly, the old "this changes everything" BS is very tiresome and is never true.

Vincenzo, you are a true renaissance man. Musician, writer, scientist. A multi-talented person. Congratulations on your science and discovery. To further the science on the Shroud of Turin is big stuff. We believe on the witness of Bible writers, but physical evidence could be a big boost for people's faith. I understand that you are just catching up with friends/acquaintances who may be wondering what you've been up to. By posting it here though, you will incur the wrath of Strat fanatics as well as the usual religious zealots.

Fascinating subject Vinny, I assume that you use your technology with already existing footage of the shroud. I saw somewhere that another researcher believed that they were "coins" on the eyes of the image.

Authentication of this relic is no more a waste of time than to study an old bit of wood which may or may not be the first Stratocaster prototype.

People have a thirst for knowledge and there is a great interest in this stuff, both religious and historical. Every second TV show these days seems to involve forensic science. Even the Vatican doesn't have a problem with it.

For some of us, blind faith is just not enough, keep it up mate.

Can we discuss the actual subject? Vinny, can you elaborate on your discoveries? What do your findings mean in the context of authenticating the relic?
Are researchers any closer to doing a second carbon dating test with an untainted sample?
Apparently in the original test, the sample which is a woven flax cloth (linen) contained cotton fibres from a medieval repair, thus corrupting the Carbon isotope count.

Hmm. Probably not the right forum but um...can you explain what's going on in the videos? I don't see anything in particular (I looked them up on youtube).

I'm also pretty skeptical about any research that shows the shroud as authentic because there's a lot of overwhelming evidence that it can't be, but I want to know what I am supposed to be evaluating here.

How does your method work, what am i looking at in these findings, how does it invalidate past arguments of inauthenticity, etc?

You know every situation has that one guy. In the workplace, within a circle of friends, on a forum for instance. They just have a fascinating quality, the people accept that (to a degree) and just leave it at that.

I remember a guy who I used to work with when I was in management. Stair-railing installers are a fascinating bunch as it is. This guy, no joke, would show up at noon for work. He was on time EVERY SINGLE DAY at noon.. Of course our workday started at 6am. This guy could talk anybody into anything, and also break into any house that wasn't opened by a Super. No matter what, he got the job done. Whenever we got a call or complaint because he was making noise at 10pm or later, I would just say "why don't you go talk to him?" And sure enough, I never heard another word. Superintendents would give him master keys to tracts!!

When other workers would ask me if they could come in at noon.. Nope. Because I knew it would become a random arrival headache. Showing up at 6 then 9 then 11 then 7 etc.. And I knew they didn't have the qualities to talk their way out of them, or me, being in trouble with the Supers.

There are some people in this world that you just let it happen and it is what it is.

What it means is that its not a painting as I have figured out how to reveal the true encoded skin hair and turn the black and white neg by Guiseppe Enrie dated 1931 into true photo images. Its big news and will spread slowly in science circles am awaiting confirmation of my research and duplication of my results. Filming in various angles off the 1931 negative by Enrie and then overlaying the images. Sounds simple but was never done before, I am the first. Anyway talk soon and see you soon hope your all well.
