I have a Classic Player 50's Strat with vintage style locking tuners but I want to replace them with regular vintage style safety post tuners.
Will everything fit correctly without modification?
Same bushings?

thank you

Good god, why would you want to do that?
They look like vintage tuners, but lock. To me it's the best of both worlds.

What do you mean by "safety post" tuners? I've never heard of that before.

I'm surprised because they are standard on every vintage strat or reissue.
Maybe it's spelled Saf-T-post?

anyway.....

Does anyone know if the regulat vintage style tuners/bushings will fit on a guitar that had "vintage locking" tuners on it?

Anyone?
bueller?

There's so many options to know them all.

not really.
Vintage strat safe-t-post Kluson style tuners are all the same.

I don't like the locking tuners so much as I have ZERO need for them.
Yet..I can't find anyone to swap with me. ..

Original vintage Kluson style tuners don't leave the sharp string end poking out to cut you up. ;)
