I looked up the serial number on The Guitar Dater Project site, and it came back with this:

Your guitar was made at the
Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico
in the Year(s): 2002 - 2003

How can I obtain more information? It's a black on black Stratocaster Deluxe HSS with a Floyd Rose. I checked the Fender service diagrams page, but I cannot find a Deluxe HSS from '02 or '03. The closest I've found is this: http://support.fender.com/service_diagr ... B_SISD.pdf

Does anyone know more? What kind of pickups, wood, ect.

E-mail your serial number to Fender customer service and they will tell you everything there is to know about your guitar.

Add some photos from a Photobucket account and the pros here will be able to tell you a lot about it. We all like pictures! :)

I should know better than to post in a guitar forum without pictures.

It was missing the nut locks when I bought it ($150 with a Marshall Micro Stack), so I thought it would be a good idea to put black ones on there. It'd probably look better with silver...

But, anyway, I will try emailing Fender the serials. Thanks, and if anyone has anything to add, please do.

There doesn't seem to be an email address listed under Support > Contact us. :?:

Because that's not where it is located:

Thanks for that email address I didn't realize.
I had used the guitar dater project up until now but I've sent the serial numbers of my two MIM Strats to see what Fender has to say.

You're welcome. Fender has moved a lot of stuff around on the site. Makes things hard to find sometimes.

Exactly. I've found it hard to find what I'm looking for.
Very curious to see what Fender has to say about my Strats now that I've emailed them the serial numbers.
