I just have to chime in and say that I like your choice of "other" guitars. I have a 69 Guild Studio 302 archtop and an Ovation Connecticut built acoustic as well (both now Fender companies)

Thanks, I bought the Guild new and don't remember why I chose it. At the time I was hanging out at a shop that was loaded with Fenders. I'm sure my buying decision was based on something like, "I'll take the shiny red one." It's a great blues guitar.

Just thought you'd like to know that Elvis was at the office today for his annual oral hygiene checkup. I reminded him that he needed to have a look at his advanced planning calendar to 'save a date' for you. He was most appreciative for the heads up and intended to advise his staff of same. FYI: He has us play 'Don't Be Cruel' over and over again while he is with us.:wink:
