guys i went to a store last week and i found two of the recomended solders... but i have a doubt all they say is 60/40 and 63/37 does that imply that it has respectivly 40% and 37% lead or could they be those unleaded solders?

60/40 is the standard tin/lead solder and it is still available, and not illegal. I believe that manufacturers only have to use the "unleaded" stuff for export products, and they may even use it for domestic production, but the tin/lead is still available as it always has been. The unleaded "bad solder" should be marked RoHS compliant, or some other such labeling to indicate lead-free.

And don't forget to buy a few very small clips to use as "heat sinks". It sure helps from melting components upstream of the soldering iron that are innocent bystanders. Don't ask me how I know

i heard of these clips and i think i saw them but i'm not sure... i think those clips work

by the way should the iron touch the wires and components or does it only touch the solder? cause the way i see it i should have the iron touch the solder and let the solder melt on the joint

You heat the joint and touch the solder to the hot joint. Go to You Tube and search for soldering videos. There are plently of how-to's out there.

Right! Use the iron to heat the component terminal, solder pad, and lead or wire, and touch the solder to the heated component lead, letting the component melt the solder, not the iron. This way, you insure a proper joint. When you melt the solder with the iron and pile it on the component, you can get a "cold" joint, meaning that the component was not hot enough for the solder to properly adhere to it. Put just a touch of solder on the iron tip when starting, to better help transfer heat to the component from the iron.
