hello,i'm i the middle of my first custom build,,i have a set of 2010 amer std controls i bought from reliablefender.my question is about the solder left on the pot were the wires were cut.do i need to clean that off,or can i solder to it? if so how would i clean it off?thanks Image

Hi badvibes,

Not necessary to clean it off, and yes, you can solder wires to the same spot where solder already is. :)

Just to put it out their. The have desoldering guns and the also have desoldering braid

Correct. If you solder to any extent you should have a solder sucker and de-soldering wick among your array of tools, as well as a tin of rosin flux.
