My wife's a musician, so I can justify new purchases if it serves an unfilled need.

Example: I have a Strat. Likely if I want a new Strat, I will need to sell the old one.

However, last year I bought an acoustic with her blessing, since I didn't have one.

Wives keep you honest. Mine doesn't need a shoe closet, either. She's a keeper.
