Hello, I am looking to get a book about fender but I want a book that has a lot of information about my specific guitar. I am really looking for a book that maybe shows advertisements from that year, accessories that the guitar came with and items you could have bought, maybe blueprints, and maybe information on the factory it was made in.

I have a 2000 Mexican made Fender Stratocaster.

There are plenty of books out there on Fender Strats that contain details and specs on each major build. Do a search on Amazon under books for Fender Sratocasters.

It may not have extensive details on your specific model guitar, but the Fender Stratocaster Chronicles is an excellent book with interesting information on Strats of every era up until when it was written (2004, I think). It also has great pictures, sometimes I just get the book out to look at them. Makes you feel like you're six years old again.

Ensenada, Mexico is where it was made. You can look at a YouTube video to see the mexican factory in operation. The mexican models have not really impacted the history of music to the extent that the vintage USA instruments have, that's why there is not too much information on the Mexican factory. As far as accessories go, there really wasn't anything specifically for the mexican guitars. Straps and such are pretty much universal. :D

Look for a Frontline catalog from your particular year.

Mine is '06, FAT, full of everything Fender. :D
