Well if u want to find out u better read the thread 'the actual 1996 50th anniversary strat..

My guitar is sooo bad $@! that it has lesser guitars take care of it's light work. I think it'll send a Sivertone to take care of yours. :lol:

look u want to know how good my sustain is.. :P
well i can brush past my guitar on the way to the shops,
buy a packet of smokes,stroll in the pub for a couple of schooners,
walk back home (3miles) ,open the door,walk slowly over to my guitar
and stop the strings vibrating and generally straight after that i would plug a cord into my guitar and and amp and actually turn it on... :lol:

The sustain on my guitar is that good as well. Now the tone. The tone on my Strat is so good that Clapton and SRV's Strats cry with shame for not sounding as good.

Alright this is all in good fun, but the tone and sustain on my Strat are really awesome. I feel like it's all in the construction and my fingers.

The body is a 5 lbs 2 piece Alder body that has been stained (no paint of sealer).
The neck is a slab rosewood fret board.
Vintage Fender bridge
Medium jumbo frets
3 Custom shop Texas Special pickups.

It's a very cool guitar.

Tell me about your Strat.

P.S. I used my Big Muff Pie Sustainer petal with my Clapton Strat. I hit one note and it rang for over several minutes. I was able to hold the note for about a minute, call my friend on the phone so he could hear it and then hang up holding the note for a few minutes. I then got board and released the string. It was the craziest thing I've ever heard or seen on a Strat

Paris: Strat + Big Muff Pi = Good stuff 8) I have the same experience with mine. I can hit pinch harmonics really easily too...

My guitar is so good, it made George Harrison's guitar gently weep... :)

Yeah no worries paris,glad u have a sense of humor :lol: Lifes very boring otherwise.
But yeah ur sustain is really good.Funny on this forum u dont really hear people talk about it..i find it very important. :|
