I found that I did a tiny cosmetic damage on the tremolo plate, just behind the arm hole. A little dent on the metal's uprising corner.
The guitar is almost a month old so I'm feeling kinda -> :? about it...

Is there any way that I can make it if not dissapear, at least little less noticeable? Can a use fine sandpaper or I could damage the chrome surface?

i don't think so it ain't natural for something like that to get damaged... can you post a photo to see exactly what we are dealing with?

I'm ashamed to say....

Well....

I did something stupid which resulted to jam the arm tension spring in the arm hole.
The dent was made while trying to unjam the spring using a screw...

The dent is tiny small but knowing that is there makes my eyes always follow it.

dude i don't think there is a way to hide it... you could always try chrome spray paint but i don't think it'll work...
i'm going to give you a talk i gave to a friend of mine once and it's your call to agree or not with me... now i'm not a road worn freak i hate dings on my guitars and i will hide them but sometimes there are "scars" (on hardware) you can't hide on your guitars and i learned that those scars are what make your guitar unique... you will be able to identify it this way and know that what you are playing is in fact your guitar sometimes minor flaws make the character of the guitar...
now it's up to you man you could hide it or you could embrace it...

I agree totally with what you 're saying...
It's just that..... she's only 27 days old... :(

I just wonder, the steel (it is steel, isn't it?) plate is chromed over, or there is something else going on there?
I mean, the "shine" is something that was painted over the plate metal or is it the metal itself?

It may bother you right now but give a few days and you probably won't care anymore. The first one always stings the most.

You can't fix it. Don't worry about it.

Give the body a whack with a hammer and you'll forget all about it.

Just kidding. :D

Wonder if a Dremel with polishing wheel on it would help?

Likely there is nothing that can be done. If it is a dent, it will always be there, and if it is a chip in the chrome, that will always be there. The only fix would be to sand-blast and replate the chrome. That would be expensive. You could just buy a new bridge plate, or just live with what has happened and enjoy playing your guitar ;)
