Actually the design of the Duncans is made where the button does not stick out and they will not release unless you stick you finger in the depression. This was part of the design that I liked better was the push action as opposed to the pull action of the Schallers. Also when I was using the Schallers, I had to screw in the mounting screw every few months because they would back themselves out. I have yet to tighten a Dunlop mounting screw, and I have had 1 set since 2007.

Don't get me wong, I like the Schallers too, just the Dunlops work better for me.

I think that everyone should invest in some sort of strap locking system, whether it is Schaller, Dunlop, Planet Waves, or even just plastic bread clips. From experience, nothing makes a heart skip a beat as your favorite guitar hitting the ground while plugged in and playing.

i agree too. cheap price for that little bit of extra security no matter which style you buy.
