Hello, I was looking around and wanted to see anybody knew where I could find one of the cardboard boxes Fender ships thier guitars within the mail. I have seen pictures of a few online (it's a basic box with the fender logo on the front) I would to get one just to add to my guitar (I have 2000 Mexico standred stratocaster) any help?

You can go inside a Guitar Center or Sam Ash and just ask them for the box. I do it sometimes if I need to ship a guitar.

Are you shipping your guitar in the box :?:
And are you not encasing it in a hardshell case :?:

I would not advise shipping a guitar in a cardboard box without being in a hardshell case, not a gig bag.
Yes I know Fender ships in cardboard but I would not consider a guitar without a case...

When I ship a guitar, the guitar is in a hard case, and the hard case is inside a cardboard box with packing peanuts.

I've modded my Fender cardboard box..

Changed the end flaps and the main staples. Was thinking about a complete re-finish, but can't find a replacement logo anywhere on the internet.. :|

I'm on the lookout for another strat box too - got some plans for relicing. Give it that real Road Worn look..

I have shipped numerous guitars without a hard case with no problems. I wouldn't recommend it on a high priced guitar, but it can be done.

It sounds like you want the box with the logo to use as a case...is this correct?

If so, not a very good idea...even a gigbag offers more protection than the box.

Just block the end flaps... also helps it stay in tune!
