What is the reason why the HSS Deluxe Strat comes with a roller nut and the SSS doesn't?

It's most likely the thinking that players seeking a guitar with a bridge humbucker are going to be rockin' out at least part of the time and sometimes rock-n-roll requires a little more whammy work.
