Hello everyone,

I am here today because I have recently bought the 2011 American Deluxe at guitar center and I was just wondering a few things. Why did they get rid of the roller nut and gave it a tree. I'm actually surprised I haven't found aforum here comparing the new 2011 to anything. Hell I haven't found any other information on it.

The regular SSS models use a string tree.

All HSS Strats came with an LSR Roller Nut as an OEM. Fender offered these guitars with an optional locking tremolo bridge in the past.
