I had posted a question about an early ‘90s Fender Stratocaster I seen in a music store. It got me very curious about these guitars.
Was there a Stratocaster produced in the early '90s which had, "Made in the USA" stamped into the back of the next just above where the body and neck join together (sort of like the, "Crafted in Japan." Strats.
Since I had never seen them before or since I figured that they were fakes.

I'm sorry, but I've only seen a handful of these guitars in a music store near Ft. Lee, VA in 1993.

If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. It you own one attach pictures if you can. I'm very curious.

I've never seen one like that either; I would have to think they were most likely a fake. I suppose they could have been something made for export only that weren't supposed to be sold here in the USA.
