ok so here's my idea. i've got the standard HSS strat. It's still got the original pickups. i want to swap the neck and the middle single coil pickups to the 'Fender Texas special' single coils. And i want to swap the humbucker in the bridge position to a 'gibson burstbucker pro 3'. Any thoughts? ideas? tips?

Sounds like this would be a pretty good pickup combo. However, I'm not sure about the string spacing on the MIM Standards and how the Gibson pickup's polepieces match up; you may want to find a similar-voiced humbucker that is "F-spaced" so the strings line up over the polepieces like they do on the stock pickup.
