hello,i am building my first strat,i guess partscaster yet i dont like that term,cuz mine is all usa made fender parts except the tuners and pups.i have a 2010 amer std body.i am ready to go for a neck,i am looking at a highway one neck.my ? is about micro tilt.i know the highway one does not have it.is it good or bad?i can afford an amer std neck but i feel that the non micro tilt neck would be a tighter fit to the body.i would love some advice on this before i shell out the dough.thanks

As long at it's a 4 screw neck you should'nt have any problems. Micro tilts with 2 screws and a bolt woud not work. unless your body has been fitted for the micro tilt. Good luck with the build. I have a micro tilt but don't use it. I prefer to have the neck flush in the pocket and use paper shims if adjustments are needed.
