Hello Secret,
I haven't played the 62 yet, there is a sherwood green one hanging
up high on the wall at my local music superstore and it's a beauty.
This and the Clapton candy green are two of my favorite colors.
Right now I have an ash emerald green american deluxe.
I dig green on a strat.
Nice choice on that Hot Rod.
Cheers.

Thanks man! I really dig green on a Strat too. You really don't see many Sherwood green or Candy green Fenders.

I got the '57 Hot Rod about a month and a half ago, and it is amazing. It's my first strat, but it nails the sound that I have been wanting to have for a super long time. The guitar is beautiful, the finish is great, I'm not sure about the electronics in the '62, but I love the SCN pups in mine....overall great buy

Hi Secret,
I was over at the music superstore yesterday and took a test
drive on that Hot Rod. Very Nice indeed, first thing I noticed was
how thick the neck is, very substantial with a D shape. Really
comfortable reminds me a lot of older Gibson jazz box necks.

Nice! I'll be receiving it this week. I'll post pics once I get it!
