i use light gauge strings. 9-42's.

i've been trying out lots of different brands lately. Ernie Balls are great. I also like D'Addario. Elixers, DR's, and GHS are alright.

Ernie Balls are probably my favorite.

Same here :) I find them just right. '9s seem like theres nothing under my fingers when I'm playing, and I'll overbend the high strings, whereas '11s I have trouble playing up to speed on.

DR High Voltage Dimebag's, 10-46

Good firm strings, rarely, and serve well in dropped tunings

Are you using these on a guitar, or for lapsteel? If you are using them on a guitar, how do they sound? I like those gauges... they seem pretty awesome.... I use 12,16,24p,32,44,56 ...... I find the 12 is too light on top though.... maybe these strings would suit me better lol

Been using the Ernie Ball Slinkys for over 30 years and see no need to change now. They're just great strings.
