I have CAR Jimmie Vaughan Strat with the serial number MSZ9315xxx but cannot find any info on it. The database listing I found did not list it. Can anyone identify the YOM?

I believe the code part is the "MSZ9". It should break down as "M" for "Mexico", "S" for "Signature model", and "Z9" makes it a guitar made between mid-2009 and mid-2010. A non-signature MIM from that time frame would have an "MZ9" serial number. Since the Jimmie Vaughn is an Artist Signature model Fender adds an "S" to the serial number.

I have found that Fender is way behind in updating their "Date Your Guitar" page; it seems to end with 2005 serial numbers.
