Anyone else have one? Mine is bright green. Really, really green. I was just wondering how rare they were. And, mine still has the weird nut. Never replaced.

Yes I have a few, check out: http://xhefriguitars.com/page2.html Please post some picts of yours. It is one of three greens: Bahama Green, Surf Green, or Taos Turquoise. If really bright, most likely Bahama Green!

Sounds like a cool guitar. I am thinking that it must be pretty rare since I have never seen one like it. It would be pretty cool if you could post a pic of it so we can see it.

It looks almost like a lima bean, it's a brighter green during the day.

If it's a '89 Deluxe Strat Plus, then it's the earlier version with the two Silvers in the neck/middle positions and the Blue in the bridge. The guitar uses a Hipshot Tremsetter, which is a common feature for a Deluxe Strat Plus from the period. It also features an American 2-point tremolo, with the Deluxe pop-in bridge becoming a common option between 1989 and 1993.

In 1991 the Strat Plus Deluxe has been updated with three different types of Lace Sensors: a Blue in the neck, a Silver in the middle and a Red in the bridge. Other notable changes were a 4-ply aged pearloid pickguard (brown tortoise shell on certain colours) and a "mini-Floyd" locking tremolo.

Mine has the two point bridge, a white pickguard, and three gold lace sensors.

Then it's not a Strat Plus Deluxe, it's a regular Plus. Strat Plus Deluxes (such as this 1996 example) are high-end versions of the Plus with different types of Lace Sensors, an aged white pearloid pickguard and a Fender Deluxe Locking Tremolo Assembly with LSR roller nut and Schaller locking machine heads.

True, but the locking trem, LSR nut and pearloid pickguard started on this model in mid-to-late 1993; from late 1990 to that point in 1993 they had a "deluxe trem" (regular cast saddles plus a snap-in arm) the Wilkinson trem, and a plain white pickguard. Late 1990 was when the pickups changed to blue logo/silver logo/red logo Laces - I saw one with the blue/silver/red set at my local dealer right before Christmas 1990.

As John C pointed out, not all DX Plus guitars after 1991 had the Floyd Rose II bridge. I have many of them that have the standard American bridge. Some DXs, even after 1991 did not have pearl pickguard, but used a simple White one. The Pearl guards were Pearl/Black/White (3-ply). Before 1991, all the DX had just plain white unless changed out later. IMHO..... Here is a 1990 add for the DX STrat Plus with the Silver/Silver/Blue laces:
