Why would anyone come on here to belittle someone else's collection?

Aside from missing the exceedingly nice JV Strat, you know nothing of the quality of those axes. I see some really nice playable instruments there. Obviously well cared for and loved.
A lot of sonic ground covered in that collection.

It is almost always poor players that try to cut down other people's gear.

"You need more practice, not more gear!" advice I got 25 years ago, just as true today as it was then. i just have a little more expendable income to buy toys with.

I Totally agree with you. I was in a classic rock band when I was stationed in Korea and our lead guitarist only guitar was a parts guitar he built himself.

The first strat I owned was a '58 that I purchased in '65. I modded the hell out of it because it was to be quite honest it was a terrible guitar, wouldn't stay in tune, one of the pups cacked out intermittently. I ended up trading it for Gibson L6S in the mid '70's. Anywho most of my guitars now are stock save for my "frankencaster" ,though I do enjoy building parts guitars, now though I don't buy a guitar unless it feels right and sounds good to me and most of the ones I own now I wouldn't want to change unless it was absolutely out of necessity.

Interesting...I think that I owned that same '58 Strat for a short time!

Mine isn't, but then, mine is a cheapie. I put in a fantastic set of pickups, and added the bridge-tone-jumper mod.

No apologies; these made it sound better, and made the bridge position much more versatile.

Your teles are Squires.

Your les Pauls aren't Gibsons

As I said: TheJakeLudwig - a name to remember! Not making many friends here, mate. First that exceedingly "funny" photoshopped headstock spelling "mistake" thread, now boldly urinating onto fellow forumites' gear: no no no. Big NO.

Reconsider :!:

Wow ppl here are way too sensitive. Sorry, I wasn't "bashing" anyones gear. I just express my personal opinions on things. If it doesn't say "Fender" on the headstock I don't bother playing it!!! Fender Rocks and They make great guitars. If I had to choose one of that bunch I'd pick the red one. I find that red guitars seem to have more bass though. Peace

Interesting - - how did you come to those findings? :?:

You were bashing...and you did
That is not a personal opinion, that is a personal attack.

Perhaps you would elaborate on the alchemist's reasoning of one color being sonically superior to another... :?:
An intelligent well reasoned post as to " You can go with this... or you can go with that.." on gear is always welcome on this forum, at least you are capable of that...eh..!

" If it doesn't say Fender " many of us do play guitars with other names. We call it comparisons.

To me it doesnt matter what the name is, but if i like the feel of the guitar and the sound I will just like it bottom line. And a lot of guitarists have multiple types of guitars because as a musician it is good to have variety. Don't be bashing his guitars, because all that matters is that he likes them because he is the one who plays them.

Yes, you were giving your personal opinion and now you are dealing the consequences for your actions.

Remember, when you give your opinion it doesn't mean that you’re free from the back lash for it. I'm sure that when you wrote it you didn't think that it would come across so crude.

Now for the other part of your statement. Yes Fender makes great guitars, but there are lots of great non-Fender guitars out there. Schecter makes some really nice guitars that won't break the bank.

Buying a guitar is a truly personal thing and one person's junk is another person's love. I don't like BC Rich, but some guy out swears by them.

Good luck!

How do we know you even own a Fender?....sure can't tell by fake pictures.
I complimented you on a couple of guitars, then you turned around and said somebody else had cheap guitars....guess what? my Fenders are more expensive than the ones you posted pics of....so I wouldn't bother playing yours....really,since you're so full of B/S I won't bother responding to you! anymore.
