Wow, I have never seen anything like this. I wonder how many of these there are in existence. If it is not that many, I would say this would be a pretty valuable guitar. I wonder if they did this on purpose. Anyway, grats on the great find.

That actually looks like the photos have been altered, rather than simply a misspelled label. Notice that the A doesn't line up with the rest of the letters. In the first picture the A is higher than the others, and in the last picture the A is lower than the others and off to one side. And if you zoom in a little on the full front view, you can just make out an O in the Strat-O-caster on the headstock decal.

Not funny at all. Especially considering the eagerness to wrongly fault quality control.

Indeed.

As phony as a seven-dollar bill!

I've seen better Photoshop work from pre-schoolers.

A little humor never hurts.

And that was a little humor.

Of course, I laughed quite a bit ...

thejakeludwig,

Give it up dude! If you had left things the way they were, you could have claimed that you were joking. But insisting that it is real, coupled with your asking about the particular font used on the headstock decal in another thread, makes your attempt at fraud seem lame, and possibly you are practicing here to polish your deception technique.

There is no getting around the painfully obvious fact that your pics have been altered, whatever program that you used. You didn't do a very good job with the altered pics, and if you zoom in a little on the pic of the full front of the guitar, you can see the O in Stratocaster on the headstock decal. It took me about 15 minutes to alter my pic, using Paint, and frankly I think that I did a better job.

I for one will be reporting your shenanigans, and hope others do the same. It's bad enough that people like you clog up the forums with BS posts anyway, things that at best should be in the lounge not here, now you want to make the forum a place for fraud also? LAME!!! :!:
