Hello

What is the best way to lower the action on a Jeff Beck strat?

I recently adjusted the tremolo and changed the string gauge to 9-42, however it has impacted the overall string height, and i would like to lower it slightly.

thanks in advance…

J

Just use the string saddles to adjust to the desired height. Also, check your intonation as well, because depending on how much you adjusted the tremolo, you may have changed the overall length of the strings from bridge to nut.

Happy Playing!

I agree, I would imagine that you would make adjustments the same way you would on any other fender. Just lower or raise the saddles, but be sure to check your intonation afterwords.
