I noticed that the lower 3 strings and the Low E & A string were making some string buzz on my new VG Strat, so I adjusted the saddles about a quarter turn on the upper three strings and about a full turn on the Low E & A. Now when I play the tunings: G, dadgad, and baritone, I get an effect like chorusing on the high E, the B, and usually the G strings - It's driving me crazy! I've made sure the guitar is in standard tuning. I've changed the batteries and tried to return the saddles to their original adjustment, but that hasn't helped. I can't find anything in the manual or on the Fender website about this problem, nor about saddle adjustments or adjustments to the Roland pickup. Can anyone give me some advice on troubleshooting this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

Right off the bat I would say reset your iintonation. After all that saddle adjustment they are probably a little out of wack. might be the cause of your problem. Start there. Sounds like you might need to check the neck for twist or maybe you are in need of a fret leveling . Just some things to check.

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked and adjusted the intonation, but that did not improve the situation. Also the neck is fine and the frets aren't an issue. By the way, this is my second VG. The first was a blem I purchased from a national retailer - it had the same problem. I wonder if it's common? Fender should have more feedback on this guitar. They ought to start a user's group.
