Anyone know how I can wire the five-way selector in my CP60s to accomplise the following changes?

At present its:-

pos1 - bridge (no tone control)
pos1 - B plus middle
pos3 - middle
pos4 - m plus neck
pos5 - neck

I would like:

pos1 - remain on Bridge only, but with rear-most tone control
pos4 - bridge plus neck

Thanks

You can have the pickup combinations (or lack thereof) you want but not in the positions you want with a regular 5 way switch. For the positions you want, you need a Super Switch.

With your current switch and regarding the lower tone control, do you want it to still work for the middle pickup too?

I believe that you will have to use a Super Switch for the combination that you want. This is how the CP50s comes wired, for operation as you have described.

Pos 1 - Bridge pu, w/ lower tone control
Pos 2 - Bridge and Mid pu, with lower and upper tone controls
Pos 3 - Mid pu, with upper tone control
Pos 4 - Bridge and Neck pu, with lower and upper tone control
Pos 5 - Neck pu, with upper tone control

I would be happy for no tone control on the middle PU

Thanks for the info both of you.
