Hello all, new member here. I am trying to find original Fender bridge saddles for my '76 Strat. I have seen the stamped ones , and the newer American Standard versions, but neither of those match the ones on my Strat. Was there a limited run of solid metal saddles in the mid 70s? I would like to try to get the same style saddles if possible, but if not, I will go with the stamped steel model.

Thanks in advance, Steve....

One option if you need just one or two for replacement is to check with your local guitar repair shop they may give or sell you one or two.

The vintage-style replacement bridges with 2-7/32" string spacing that Allparts sells feature the cast bridge saddles as found on the '70s-era Strats.

Yea, the string saddles on your 70's strat would be cast pot-metal with a chrome plating.....and once the chrome plating wears through, the pot metal saddles wear VERY quickly! If your guitar is really nice for it's age and you wanna keep it original, look on eBay for some 1970's strat saddles. They only made one kind then!

So, would you all suggest I go with the "vintage saddles" I'm not super concerned with keeping it original, I'll keep the current saddles in a bag in the case. I just want to fix 'er up a little.

Welcome.

I vigorously suggest you go with the vintage saddles in lieu of the OEM type.

Thanks!! I'll pick some up soon. Will these be spaced the same as originals? Same general size?

Yes, provided you are emphatic by asking for the American spaced ones and not the Mexican spaced ones.
The Fender part number for a set of 6 is: 099-2051-000.

Another option is the Graph Tech saddles.

I have them on a couple of mid-'70s Strats and they do a good job (RE: stopped string breakage).
