Hey guys,

I picked up one of these guitars half-price on a clearance rack at GC, and I have to say, probably the best deal I've ever come across on a guitar... Sounds awesome too! Anyway, these guitars come stock with 9-42 strings and I'm looking at throwing on 10-46 strings. Seems like I read somewhere tho' that upgrading to 10's on a stock strat requires stronger springs on the tremolo to prevent too high of a rise. I know this is kind of a newb question, sorry, it's been a LONG time since I've owned a strat.

haha that is what I thought too... The lonestar it the HSS version right?
great guitar btw especially at half the price Is it the white or 3Tone-burst?

I grabbed the white one. and yes, the lonestar has the hss, 2 texas sc's and a pearly gates plus and is also a GREAT sounding guitar if you manage to pick it up however it only comes with a rosewood fretboard. I wanted the 3 sc and a maple fretboard so I opted for the roadhouse.
