I would like to ask two questions about my Fender guitar.

I bought Standard Stratocaster in Ukraine, Nikolaev city.
The serial number is : 565109, model number is 014 47 02 380.
There is a sign on the front part - MO9.
Shop assistant ensured me that my guitar has Mexican origin. Unfortunatelly, I can't check it with the help of your site http://www.fender.com. Could you help me, please?)
Is my guitar genuine ?

Really, we need to see a picture of the guitar. If you can upload one to photobucket, then put the [IMG] code in your post/reply. It would help a lot.

MO or M0 serial no' prefix sounds a little suspect, are you sure that is correct?

Mexican Fender serial numbers begin

MN for the years 1990-1999
MZ for 2000-2009.
