I know it's a weird question but I'd like to think I'm not the only one who feels like this.
Due to time contraints I haven't been able to play either of my strats all day and I'm really cranky because of it. I'm new to all of this, bought my first strat over a week ago and got hooked to the point whereni bought my second one a few days later and if I don't play at least at the end of the day to unwind I'm not very nice to be around.
Hope I'm not the only one.

That pretty well explains why there are members of the forum who have been playing strats for 40+ years.

Looks like you're next

I so get it. It is just the best way to unwind after work. Problem for me is it irritates the MRS, So i have amps all over the house and i just go plug in in another room. Welcome to Strataholics anomyous!!! SA Support group!!!

Yup, have to play at least every other day...spent 8 months in Iraq and had no guitar let alone a strat and needless to say no strat for eight months was just about unbearable...it sucked almost as much as getting shot at :!: :!: :!:

I work nights at a hospital, and get up an hour early to jam on a Strat before going off. Best part of my day; it makes the next 12hours go slooooowwwwwwww... And then I get home and want to play some more before sleeping!

My name is Derek and I'm a Strataholic-there I said it-that's the first step in coping with my addiction.

Went on vacation for 2 weeks.
Got home.
Played for 5 hours straight.
Stared at it for at least 30 minutes afterwards.

I love Stratocasters. =)

Random statement but, they should really get spell check to make the word "Stratocaster" correct cause strats are just so....right. haha

I alway bring a Strat with me on vacation -- an amp too, periodically.

I jam early in the AM. every day, Take time out to work to get money to pay the rent, Come home and jam some more, Sleep 5 hours a night, and do it all over again. I've played other guitars, but my Strat is #1. When I'm not playing, I'm usually Thinking about playing. I have no need for a wife, Guitar is my life. as this crazy world passes me by, I'm content to spend more time with my Guitar. 8)

I alternated between Strats and Les Pauls for about 20 years and have played Strats only for the last 20+.....I love 'em.
