I'm going out on a limb here and say that he has just become the proud owner of an Eric Johnson Strat, but that is just a guess on my part.

A little more info would be nice in future posts.

Oh...well, I've never been a fan of Eric Johnson. But the EJ signature is one hell of a guitar.

I am the proud owner of a "new" Eric Johnson Artist series Stratocaster in two-tone burst. The guitar is obviously brand new but the serial number EJ02477 is not. It plays like a champ. I like the "fat" neck and the contrast to my MIA RI '62 Strat sound is astonishing. Two very different guitars in my arsenal. Since I can't get home before the sun goes down we will have to wait until Saturday for some good pics.

Thank you for your comments.

until then,
Graham

P.S. It has very thick strings

New! Accessorize your Webkinz!
Now you can add a collar for your Webkinz, with its initial or a matching charm. All pewter charms are interchangeable.

Fits Webkinz Collar EJ2477
(sold seperately)

I should probably buy that charm too... might be a nice addition.

I have one as well, only mine is White Blonde. The neck is awesome- it is a soft V at the 1st fret, and gradually changes to a C neck near the 12th. This provides a nice chunky neck for fretting chords, and a thinner, comfy neck for lead stuff. It has a 12" radius, much flatter than most other strats. Also, it has nitro glossy neck, back and fingerboard. Takes some breaking in (kinda sticky at first) but I love it!
